Arta Gharib Parsa, MD
I spent my early childhood in Vancouver, Canada, before moving to central California for most of my formative years. I’m excited to be back in the Pacific Northwest for my family medicine residency! Before attending medical school, I saw firsthand the importance of an excellent primary care doctor, and that’s what I strive to be for all my patients. I was the program director for the Stockton Health Empowerment Conference, which was designed to encourage underserved high school and community college students to pursue health care careers. I chose to join Kaiser Permanente because of their history of setting the standard and pushing the boundaries of primary care. I have access to expert resources, the most up-to-date clinical guidelines, and supportive staff that make it possible for me to provide thorough and consistent care for every single one of my patients. I know my time here will prepare me to succeed in any health care setting I choose.
