Reasons to visit our clinic

The Orion Clinic provides health services to homeless and unstably housed young adults between the ages of 12-24. The clinic was started by the residency in partnership with YouthCare to provide care for this population. It is staffed by second year residents and community medicine faculty. Dr. Joy Thurman-Nguyen is the residency director of community medicine and leads the care and teaching at Orion. It is located close to Capitol Hill in downtown Seattle.

  • Urinary Tract Infection
  • Skin Conditions - eczema, warts, etc.
  • Substance use disorder services, including Suboxone
  • Transgender needs and hormone therapy
  • Hepatitis C treatment
  • HIV care
  • Mental Health services
  • Contraception & Pregnancy Tests
  • Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) treatment

We provide health education sessions, and host afternoon workshops to learn how to better care for yourself.
