Medical interests: Adolescent medicine, child development, and obstetrics. I practice half-time at Kaiser Permanente Rainier Medical Center, teach half-time, and direct the Kaiser Permanente Teen Pregnancy and Parenting Clinic.
Personal interests: I enjoy dancing, jazz, fiction, and philosophy. I am a devoted fan of basketball and baseball, which I consider to be metaphors for life. I am active in my synagogue and have three children.
