Changes to your coverage can be made only during open enrollment except in special circumstances, such as adding a dependent or getting married.
Important 2018 Plan and Benefit Information
If you are a member of one of our Individual and Family plans, you will receive a flyer and letter that explain any changes to your plans, rates, and benefits, and your options for 2018.
The letter and flyer contain information about:
- Rate adjustments
- How to renew or choose a new health or dental plan to continue coverage
Delta Dental of WA benefit and rate changes for 2018:
- Pediatric dental rates increase by 4.77% and the adult/family dental plan rates increased by 3.85%. Rate increases are spread among all members with dental coverage whether they use their coverage or not.
- Members pay 30% coinsurance for Class II restorative services on the pediatric plan (reduced from 50% coinsurance in 2017). No changes were made on the adult/family dental plan.
