Access your child's medical records online
Need to copy your child's immunization record? Send a secure email to your child's doctor? Make an appointment online?
You can request access to online medical records and services for your children, birth through age 17, if they get care at Kaiser Permanente medical offices.
For children 12 and under, you can have access to online records and services like your own. For teens, 13 through 17, you can exchange email with their doctors and view immunization records.
Parental access and teen records: FAQ
To get parental access, you first need to register for your own online services. (If your child is a Kaiser Permanente member but you aren’t, contact Member Services.) Then fill out the Request for Parental Access form and take it to the business desk at any Kaiser Permanente medical office maybe at your child's next appointment. You’ll need to show a photo ID, and if you’re a legal guardian, you also must take guardianship documents.
Fill out a form for each child under age 18 for whom you want access.

After turning in the form, access is granted in 3 to 15 business days. You'll get a notice in your Kaiser Permanente message inbox, and a parental access area will appear on your home page when you sign on.
Parents also may request copies of medical records at their child's medical office.
