It is best to reorder early to ensure that your medication doesn't run out. If you are traveling, make sure to order your meds before you leave to ensure you have everything you need to enjoy your time away.
There are different ways to place an order:
Online or with the Kaiser Permanente Washington mobile app
Sign in. Go to Medications on the homepage and you'll see a list of prescriptions you can refill, as well as over-the-counter medications. You can also chat with a pharmacy representative.
A 24-hour automated service is available for refills. Be sure to have your member ID number, mailing address, prescription numbers, and payment information ready. Credit or debit cards are accepted. Call 1-800-245-7979 (TTY Relay 711) or the phone number on your prescription bottle.
Download and print the new prescription order form (PDF) and send us your prescription and payment information.
If you need your medications immediately, take your prescription to a Kaiser Permanente pharmacy or a pharmacy contracted with Kaiser Permanente. You can easily switch to mail order service for refills at a later date.
Note: Be sure to include the written prescription from your physician, or ask them to send it directly to the Kaiser Permanente Mail-Order Pharmacy.
Transfer a prescription
If you're a Kaiser Permanente member, it's easy to transfer your prescriptions so you can fill them through the Kaiser Permanente mail-order pharmacy. Choose the way that's easiest for you:
- Call us at 1-800-245-7979 (TTY Relay 711)
- Sign in, click Medications, then click Transfer Prescriptions
- Use the Kaiser Permanente mobile app
- Name and phone number of your current pharmacy
- Prescription number, name, strength, and instructions
- Name and phone number of the doctor who prescribed the medication
Once you've transferred your prescriptions, you can order refills and manage your account when you sign in at kp.org/wa.
