Jeremiah Reenders, MD
Jeremiah comes to us from Michigan, where he spent his childhood helping run his family’s blueberry farm. He studied biology at Calvin College in Grand Rapids and worked as a certified nursing assistant before enrolling in the Michigan State University College of Medicine. He has engaged in a breadth of activities there. A volunteer, Jeremiah traveled to Ecuador to work in a network of rural clinics. He has been active in the American Medical Student Association and played an organizing role in their National Advocacy Day. He has researched access to healthcare for Syrian refugees in Michigan and developed an urban garden in Flint. Hobbies for Jeremiah include hiking, canoeing, triathlons, photography, woodworking, and saxophone.
