Saraga Reddy, MD
Growing up, Saraga learned to navigate cultures with adaptability and open-mindedness. She is from Portland, Oregon, but spent some of her formative years with extended family in India. As part of the Honors College at the University of Oregon, she majored in human physiology before enrolling in the University of Vermont for medical school. Her studies there included a combined focus on global, community, and reproductive health. She participated in a longitudinal global health program in Vietnam alongside studying the effects of a campus tobacco ban, sexual health education among young men, and health education at a juvenile rehabilitation facility. Saraga speaks Hindi, Telugu, and Spanish. In addition to her love of travel and culture, her personal interests include Kuchipudi dance, Carnatic music, skiing, and playing the ukulele.
