Consumer Advisory Committee
Kaiser Permanente Washington's Consumer Advisory Committee has 35 members who meet four times a year to discuss the Kaiser Permanente Medical Care Program — and how it can better serve our members.
A. To increase communication between the program and its membership.
B. To promote understanding of patient and purchaser priorities and suggest ways the program can better serve members.
C. To develop ideas for continuing programs of consumer education.
D. To offer advice on matters of policy and operation and other advice related to management decisions of major importance to the program.
- Serve a maximum of two, three-year terms.
- Must be Kaiser Permanente Washington members and maintain their enrollment in order to remain members of the Committee.
- Cannot be employed by Kaiser Permanente or the Washington Permanente Medical Group.
Kaiser Permanente Washington's president, and Washington Permanente Medical Group's president & executive medical director(or their designees) will attend the meetings. Other leaders may also attend.
